3 Ways to Cultivate an Abundance Mindset

Have you ever heard the phrase “lack mindset”?

It’s a pretty basic Law of Attraction concept that translates to this…

If you think there’s not enough of something, there won’t be enough of it – at least, not for you. You simply won’t see it – and once you form a habit of thinking that way, you’ll just keep proving scarcity right, over and over again.

The bad news is, it’s built into the middle-class mindset – which is the dominant norm these days no matter how much money your parents had. Generally speaking, people punch the clock. They buy only what they need, not what they want (unless they are willing to feel guilty about it). They budget based on a limited income and they work with what they’ve got. Their income is reliant on someone else.

The good news is, your mindset can be changed – and with it, you can change your life.

If you choose to think that there’s enough, there will be! You’ll see opportunities left and right that were there all along – and once you form this new habit of thinking, you’ll just keep proving abundance right, over and over again.

It’s up to you.

Which thoughts do you want to keep thinking?
Which ones feel good?

No matter where you’re starting from, there are some small and easy methods that we can all use to practice seeing the world as a place of abundance.

Here are three ways to cultivate an abundance mindset:

1. Give up envy. When you are envious of another person, you are telling yourself that there is not enough beauty, love, fame, money, attention, or success to go around. That’s bullshit and you know it – so set a boundary for yourself when those thoughts come up. There IS enough for everyone.

2. Practice gratitude. Notice the features of your life that are already abundant. Make a daily list out loud if you want this to work fast! Practice actively appreciating those things moment to moment and watch how your emotional experience – and then your external circumstances – change.

3. Ask for more. It is here for you. The universe is infinitely abundant. Dream big – and then EXPECT opportunities to move closer to your goals.

Now, what if you knew that your every beck and call would be answered, every request met, that every resource was in full supply …

What would be different in your experience?
How would you show up in your life?
How would you walk, speak, dress, feel?
