Over the last couple of months, I took a step back from blogging so I could learn and create a new way of sharing content with you—through video. More specifically, through my YouTube channel.
And today, I’m sharing my first vlog with you, where I lay out 5 steps that you can use to start and grow your spiritually based business.
These are steps that I’ve personally used and that my clients use every day. These are the same steps that have helped my clients make multiple 6 figure incomes, create real wealth and live their purpose with joy and ease.
And the best part? These steps aren’t difficult, but they do require you to take action.
Step 1: Vision
For this step, I want you to think about your short- and long-term vision. What does it look like? Feel like? What are you doing? Who are you with?
Now, I want you to step back and take the ceiling off of that vision. How does that vision change if you know that you can be, do and have anything that you want?
This is really important because we’re trained to limit our belief in what’s possible. Instead, I want you to use your imagination to get past all the limits that have shrouded your vision until now.
Get dreamy. Get visionary. Make a collage, journal, meditate, etc.
Step 2: What’s the financial component?
Now that you have your true vision, you need to figure out what it’s going to cost to make it your reality.
Figuring out the financial component is one of the best ways to ground your vision into form.
To help you get started, I recommend making a list of all the things you see in your vision, then estimate how much everything costs and add it up. Look at it every month, every year, every week, and weave love, appreciation, gratitude and FLOW into every thought about money.
Step 3: Strategy
Once you have your vision and you’ve taken time to think about the financial component, I want you to think about what action you’re going to take to make your vision reality.
Here it’s really important not to let yourself get derailed by anxiety, insecurity or doubt. Instead, think about:
- What are your first steps?
- What are your longer term checkpoints?
- What is it that you have to do in order to make your vision real?
- How are sales going to happen?
Then whatever it is that you commit to—follow through. One of the most significant challenges I see entrepreneurs go through is that they say they’re going to do something, and then they don’t do it. So when you commit to your vision, please make sure you follow through.
Step 4: Mindset
Now, mindset is relevant throughout these steps, but it’s especially important here. Think about who you need to be in order to take all that action, receive all that money, spend all that money and create the vision that you dreamed?
Who is that version of you? Who is that woman or man Who is that human who creates exactly what they dream? How does he or she move in the world? How does he or she build relationships? Who are they spending time with?
Connect to this future vision of yourself. Feel them in your body, invite them into your experience, and let that version of yourself guide your thoughts.
Step 5: Prepare to Be Uncomfortable
Starting a business is the most amazing and incredible transformational journey that I’ve personally ever been on. I’m so grateful every single day that I said yes to doing this … and it’s uncomfortable every day.
Now, I don’t mean that it’s painful or challenging. It’s just massively uncomfortable because it goes against all the programming that we’ve been taught. Programming like—it’s okay to live in toleration, to live a mediocre life, to accept what’s given to you and not ask for more—that kind of stuff. It’s ingrained in all of us, so accept it, and know that it’s going to come up and it’s going to feel uncomfortable.
Now that you know the 5 steps for starting and growing your spiritually based business, it’s time to get a plan and take action.
