Every day, something also calls you back. If you’re not paying attention, you’ll get called back into the old story, the old program, the familiar bracing. It’s distracting. It’s noisy. It doesn’t feel good. But it’s familiar, so you don’t always notice it.
Think of it like a skyscraper: you used to live on the 4th floor, then you moved up to get a better view. Now you have the keys to a new place on the 15th floor, but you haven’t moved in yet. Out of habit, you keep riding the elevator to the 4th. You’re caught in the liminal space, divided between two levels of awareness.
Your attention is the elevator in the building. It’s the mechanism that brings you into the space that you’ve already paid for. Every relationship, everything you consume, offers you the opportunity to get back to your true floor.
Occupying that real estate full-time is what it means to evolve.
When the Lionsgate opens, the elevator goes straight to your true floor. No steps. No climb. The doors open and you step out. On 8/8, the Sun crosses Sirius, the star the ancients called the spiritual sun. Eight and eight. Two infinities stacked one on the other. A threshold flung wide for liberation. Coming alive. A little mischief in how fun and easy it is to be yourself.
Stop working hard on a floor you aren’t meant to live on. You were supposed to give those keys back ages ago.
