A year and a half ago, I was waking up every day unhappy. Waking up every day worried. Waking up every day with a sense of low-grade anxiety. It didn’t make any sense to me – I thought, “Wasn’t I living in my dream home, married to my dream husband, and working in my dream business?” Why was I feeling this way?
I got curious and started to investigate that question. And at the same time, I started practicing gratitude. Finding ways of connecting to my gratitude for the simplest of moments. Gratitude for being alive.
It’s common, I know. It’s so common to feel less than “all-in” for our own lives. To expect suffering, pain, and fear. To let that take us over, and forget to stay after our dreams. And it’s at those times that it becomes a necessary, proactive activity to CHOOSE LIFE.
