Sales is a skill, not a magic trick

Sales is not a magic trick. If we’re running businesses, we have to learn how to do it. 

The challenge is overcoming the resistance to learning. 

Why do we resist sales, why are we afraid of sales? 

It’s vulnerable! 

People say no to us. 

We inevitably experience rejection. 

I don’t think anyone is consciously excited to do those things. So whatever your resistance or fear of sales is – it makes sense. 

And the benefits of moving through that are so worthwhile.

The thing that’s awesome about having your own business is that wealth is already on your own terms. 

You decide how much you get to make. Financial freedom and potential for the wealth that you choose is embedded in entrepreneurship. It’s a big deal to actually claim that! We’re all living in a middle-class mindset culture; you’re getting bombarded by less empowering messaging around money all the time. 

It’s a radical, revolutionary thing to choose to make the money that you want and need when you want and need it. That is the definition of true financial freedom. It’s not a number in the bank. It is the skill of knowing you can make that money no matter what. 

As an entrepreneur, it is your job to know that. It is your job to be able to feed your business. 

Sales is what feeds your business.
